Application
As a kind of surfactant and activating agent, trans-2,3-Dibromo-2-Butene-1,4-Diol is widely used as a component of solder flux to formulate Surface Mount Technology (SMT) solder paste. It can destroy metal oxide film of interface of SMC/SMD and PCB, reduce surface tension, improve wettability and prevent reoxidation without producing flux residue. Also applied in pharmaceutical synthesis, etc
