Application
Palmitic acid is mainly applied as precipitant, water-repellent, analytic reagent, cosmetic ingredient, food flavour, also used to manufacture anionic/nonionic surfactant, lubricant additive, softener, emulsifier etc. Palmitic acid supplied by Wanjie International are specially used as a binary acid activator in solder flux to remove metal oxides in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) process.
