PREPARATION

Disodium phosphite is made by reaction between ammonia and phosphorous acid:

2(NH3.H2O) + H3PO3= (NH4)2HPO3.H2O + H2O

APPLICATION

Diammonium phosphite monohydrate is mainly used as a high-efficient fertilizer with fungicide effects.
